Mozart completed this sacred choral composition in 1870 for the choir of the Salzburg Cathedral. The work was likely intended to be used on the day of vespers for a particular saint. The work is comprised of five movements:
I. Dixit Dominus (Psalm 110) Allegro vivace
II. Confitebor tibi Domine (Psalm 111) Allegro
III. Beatus vir qui timet Dominum (Psalm 112) Allegro vivace
IV. Laudate pueri Dominum (Psalm 113) Allegro
V. Laudate Dominum omnes gentes (Psalm 117) Andante
