I have been researching ingredients for a new all-natural toothpaste for Miracle Products lately. I got an email from a person famous for his "healthy" products, and it was for his new toothcare product that contains neem oil.
I looked into neem oil for safety. I make no products that contain natural ingredients that can be harmful. What I found out about neem oil surprised me. I would never use neem oil in anything that I make.
Neem oil is used in many toothpastes, is an insecticide for plants, and is in many skin care products.
Neem oil can penetrate into plants when used as an insecticide and then be consumed if it is used on edibles. It can kill bees if sprayed on open flowers or anywhere that bees are active. If the bees die, we die.
Worse is the fact that as little as 1/2 tsp of neem oil can make a man sterile.
