As people line up down the street attempting to get their money out of Silicon Valley Bank, 95% of deposits are uninsured. This is a catastrophe for customers and something that we at World Alternative Media have been warning about for a decade.
Meanwhile, many experts believe the Federal Reserve will have to drop interest rates an entire 100 basis points in order to mitigate a contagion which would lead to mass bank runs among the other major banks. If this is done, it would dramatically push inflation higher.
