TactiSMART 047: "Patches??? We Don't Need No Stinkin' Patches!" (YES, YOU DO!)
A great USMIL improvement is General Schoomaker's Velcro beginning with his ACUPAT uniform to quickly "sterilize" an uniform of its patches or more often--24/7/365 in fact--adding patches to inform and motivate Soldiers.
The USAF and USN has exploited patches for morale-boosting purposes long before the advent of Army Velcro-equipped uniforms tediously sewing them on to clothing before their "Hook, Pile, Tape" flight suits which General Schoomaker wore while in Delta Force/Combat Applications Groupwhatever, GMTA.
As understood and implied with the Sparks Patch Power Polo Shirt, S2P3, the hard (hook) Velcro patch needs a soft Velcro (loop) "home" when not wearing HPT compatible uniforms to get all your great patches collection dust all over your house into Every Day Carry (EDC) use.
It's the collecting dust problem we solve now inspired by police departments hanging their patches on a felt piece on the wall--the PATCH BOARD.

The idea is to have a thrilling patch BOARD that can be re-positioned anywhere in your home holding all your cool patches from which to select and attach to your S2P3 and/or Velcro-compatible uniform.
1st, select a picture frame or foam poster board of the desired size.
Next, draw an INline of the frame's center onto a piece of receiver Velcro fabric and cut it carefully--or, if its a poster board or the the frame's back piece--you can have the receiver Velcro fabric glued directly to it and trimmed in situ sans measuring. Don't measure 2x twice, just CUT ONCE!
2nd, the picture frame's clear plastic or glass piece has to be removed and the Velcro back piece returned. The foam board is already ready (pun intended) to receive your patches.
VOILA!
THE PATCH BOARD.
Enjoy!
