Given the average of life expectancy is approximately 80 years of age, it is possible to predict with absolute mathematical certainty that the number of deaths (at the median age of 80) over the next decade will increase as much as the number of births did over the corresponding decade 80 years earlier.
From 1940 to 1950 the number of births in the UK increased from 700,000 per year to 1,000,000 per year (an increase of 43%). My prediction is that the number of deaths at the median age of 80 will increase by 43% over the next decade from 2020 to 2030.
