I have argued numerous times on why communism doesn't work, explaining on the economic calculation problem and partly the knowledge problem many times in the past. For the purpose of this video, I merely illustrate the body language and thought process of the idealists to see that everything is purely based off of theory.
In the end, you will hear Xexizy prove that not only does he not understand the theory of communism and why communism doesn't work, but by simply analysing his arguments you will hear him trying to fit socialism around what is inherently capitalist to suit his agenda and examples of so-called communism.
We hear about these examples of these ideal societies and systems of the past that were short-lived and crushed by fascist and communist regimes, but like he explains, they were paid wages. Money only comes from 2 places; the private sector or printing press, no economy could sustain itself long-term off the back of the printing press and as I've explained so many times before, the economic calculation problem is something they would be faced with even if they argue for a moneyless based system under the theory of communism.
Judging by his body language alone, he often stutters and struggles to respond and there was no finer example of this than when he couldn't understand the argument for why socialist economies cannot adapt to change with the market on the outside, that is to say, as a result of the price mechanism problem, socialist economies lack the necessary information of prices in order to improve technologically, which is why Cuba still drives about in 1950s cars and British Rail was left with outdated trains.
The point of this video isn't so much to argue at length on why communism doesn't work, as I've explained many times before, but to illustrate what you are up against when people like Xexizy cannot acknowledge the difference between theory and practice, which is to say, they don't understand that just because they 'INTEND' for ..
