2. User profiles do not exist. You have to pay big money for this feature. Matomo provides this for free and its critical for website owners to know their users.

3. Feedback widget has tons of JS errors. The Countly team is releasing a product without testing if the code works.

4. The mobile app is terrible. The real time dashboard view always says 0 even when there is visitors. The app is super limited and restricted. People have left critical reviews and the app developers seem to think the app is fine.

OVERALL MY OPINION:

Countly has a slick user interface and its nicely designed. It has a newer 2019 feel when most analytics platforms have an older feel to them. Countly's community edition (free version) is not that useful and its very restricted. If user profiles and tracking user flow is important, then Matomo is a much better free option.
