This is just a comedy skit.

Whenever I need to call customer service of a company/product and an Indian picks it up, I know it's going to be a struggle due to their accent and then they always try to sell me something I don't want so I hang up as soon as it's done.

At least there's typically live chat so I don't have to deal with their accent, just bad grammar instead (not as bad, so no biggie).
