The opinion at ID4R is that the sheath is bullshit. The prosecutor in this case was faced with a decision long ago, upon reading the information from the affidavit by Brett Payne. This is first about an imperfect garbage method of investigating criminal cases and the threat that dishonest, lazy investigative tactics imposes on constitutional values where freedoms are concerned. These constitutional observances were once proof that we were at one time a People and from those, governed by a trusted few. That relationship is still possible, but not without mutual consideration of those rights to liberty, health, and life, ours alike.
