This video was my first attempt at using a green screen, which is a way of embedding your face into the video while excluding the background behind where I’m setting. The video program edits out a colour in your background that you choose, in this case it was green. I don’t have many lights. So I tried to use the natural light from outside. But the sun was setting soon, so I had to try to rush to film the video because I don’t have enough lights to film this same thing at night time. The sun set at the end of while I was recording this video, which was why my face changed colour and some of the background showed up as a blur and also some of my face blurred out towards the end. I couldn’t finish recording the video while the light on the green screen was still bright and consistent enough. So I made that production mistake but also a few other errors when I made the video. But honestly I don’t think anyone cares. This is free content. I know what I did wrong in this video so that I can correct it in time for the next video. That’s the whole point. I was trying to test out what to do so that I could figure out what I was doing wrong and anything else that I needed to go out and buy, because I wasn’t sure how much I needed, like how much lighting I needed, because I only need a small square section behind me to me bright or lit up; I crop out the side of my backgrounds because there’s nothing there and I don’t need to show it. I’m in the middle of what the webcam records, and only need a square video of myself in the middle. Anyway, let me know I the comments section if you prefer this format of me showing my face in the bottom right corner of the screen to help you understand what I’m saying. Or if you want me to go back to the old format of not showing my face. I will try to do a poll of it on YouTube or Twitter or something.
