Trap music is a branch of rap and was born in the mid 2000s, in the southern United States, in Atlanta. It gained popularity in 2007 with artists such as Gucci Mane and OJ da Juiceman, both from the United States. One of the differences in style is the use of IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), an electronic music term that emerged in the 1990s, for the mixture of several fast sounds, such as dance music and techno.
A música Trap é um ramo do rap e nasceu em meados dos anos 2000, no sul dos Estados Unidos, em Atlanta. Ganhou popularidade em 2007 com artistas como Gucci Mane e OJ da Juiceman, ambos dos Estados Unidos. Uma das diferenças do estilo é o uso do IDM (Intelligent Dance Music), termo da música eletrônica que surgiu nos anos 1990, para a mistura de diversos sons rápidos, como o dance music e o techno.
