On May 13 1940 the Dutch Queen Wilhelmina fled with a part of the Dutch government to the UK.

This flight was unconstitutional and therefore with that flight they ended the Dutch constitution and with that their claim to the Dutch Throne. So on May 14 1940 we [the Dutch citizens] had no functioning government anymore and NO ROYAL HOUSE.

And then the MAGIC HAPPENED. On May 5 1945 we were ‘liberated’ from the German occupiers, but did we really??? As if nothing has happened Queen Wilhelmina came back [with her PM and MP’s] as our QUEEN and resume her reign and a couple of years later passed her spot to Queen Juliana.

But because the Dutch were busy rebuilding their homes and the infrastructure and so on and so forth that nobody had given a thought about the unconstitutional flight of their Royal Family. If it would happen today people would be better informed (tv..radio.. social media) and what eventually will lead into a major uprising. But fortunately for the Royals did never happened.

They even passed a law that forbid judges to review the constitution in their sentences.
