DavidPFranceTV INTERVIEW #30
MATT ROBINSON
Writer, Self Published Author of the book, "Lions, Tigers... and Bulldogs"
Adjunct Professor and Teacher
Boston, Massachusetts
United States
For his 30th interview, David speaks with Matt Robinson, a freelance writer and author of the self-published book, "Lions, Tigers... and Bulldogs: An Unofficial Guide to the Legends and Lore of the Ivy League".
Matt tells us the story behind writing and self-publishing his book; the history and stories behind the mascots of the Ivy League; his interest and motivation in writing as a profession and what projects interest him.
Matt is also an adjunct professor and teacher at various schools in the surrounding Boston area.
A great guest with a lot of knowledge!
If you are interested in purchasing his book - you can go to the website:

From the website:
You may understand that Harvard was the first college in the United States or that Penn is the oldest university. You could be aware that Yale's mascot is named Handsome Dan and that Brown's first bear was named Helen. Perhaps you even know that Princeton has a battleship named for it or that Cornell's colors inspired the design for Campbell's soup. And who can forget that “Animal House” was written by a Dartmouth grad and that the atom bomb was developed at Columbia?
But did you know that one of these schools had a burro for a mascot and another an orange man, or that students at two of them throw food at sporting events? Do you know where students can request songs to be played on the campus bell tower, which school uses Pantone 290 for its official color, and which has the oldest continuously-published daily student newspaper?
All this and MORE can be learned in Matt Robinson’s new book, Lions, Tigers, and…Bulldogs? An unofficial guide
to the legends and lore of the Ivy League.
