They tell us not to swallow gum but we know they lie to us about everything

You know how we all learned that you’re not supposed to ever swallow your chewing gum, right? And now we know in general, that they lie to us about every single thing…. So logic dictates we should indeed, swallow our gum. At least one piece every 7 years, it seems.
I’m gonna swallow like a 1/2 piece of PUR xylitol gum, tonight, and mark my calendar to do again in 6-7 years… just in case this is true. The downside is insignificant compared to the upside, so yeah.
I always heard your taste buds change every 7 years. When my wife tells me she hates a certain food, I tell her she probably actually loves it now, cause her taste buds change every 7 years.
She gets so mad at me for pointing that out for some unknown reason… but I know deep down inside she appreciates the scientific insight… I should probably say, “deep deep deep deep down inside”, cause it is very well hidden.. . at least to the untrained eye.
