If you try to draw lines from dot to dot, this problem will be impossible.
A little out of the box thinking (literally) will help us solve this puzzle!

Keep in mind that there are more than one solution to this problem.
Let's cover one of the more popular answers.

First we draw a diagonal line from the top right dot to the bottom left dot, passing through the centre dot.
Second we proceed to draw a vertical line past the top left dot. This path includes the centre left dot.
Third, from the end of the second line we draw a diagonal line passing through the centre top and the centre right dot all the way to the bottom
Fourth, we then draw a horizontal line from the end of line 3 back to the bottom left dot.

There you have it. All 9 dots are covered in just 4 straight lines!
Its always helpful to think outside the box and question the rules of the puzzle thoroughly to see if there's any unconventional ways of solving the problem.
