Ice Age 2: The Meltdown (PS2) - First Playthrough, Part 5, Finale: Glacier (Gaming with The Butler)

Part 5 of my playthrough of the PS2 version of Ice Age 2: The Meltdown for this November, where we play as Scrat, the saber-toothed squirrel. In this video I tackle the eighth and final level of the game - "Glacier".

This game was a blast to play and truly a pleasant experience. Unlike many movie-based games, this game is actually quite polished and well done. It's not too easy, but it's not difficult either. It is not buggy, the controls are pretty much spot on, the game is quite fun, Scrat's antics are exactly what we would expect from the poor little squirrel as he bumbles his way through the Ice Age. I did not expect to have such a high opinion of this game when I bought it. This is far from being a "Generic game with a Movie brand slapped onto it to sell it". A lot of love was poured into this game. If you like platformer games where you run and collect items (in this case, acorns), then I would strongly recommend giving this one a try if you get the chance.
