This week Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán won the national elections convincingly with his party Fidesz. From the blckbx studio, Eva Vlaardingerbroek explains to Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson what his victory means.
Many Western media and politicians did everything they could to prevent Orbán from winning the election. He has been called a racist, gay hater and Putin vassal. Nevertheless, he was re-elected by a convincing majority of the population.
Creeped faces
As a result, Orbán's victory left many Western journalists and politicians in awe. We are still waiting for Prime Minister Mark Rutte to congratulate his Hungarian colleague. And meanwhile, MEP Sophie in 't Veld (D66) already accused Orbán of electoral fraud and called him a 'buddy of the butcher in the Kremlin'.
Nationalism vs. globalism
Vlaardingerbroek explains to Carlson why Orbán is so popular among the Hungarian population: “If you stand up for your population, people will vote for you.”
About the disappointment of the establishment, she says: “It shows the anti-democratic character of the left-wing elite. They don't want real democracy. Only if it serves their left-wing globalist agenda do they want democracy.”
