A Blessed Journey In Biblical Archaeology- Ron Wyatt, A God Fearing Man
Ronald Eldon Wyatt
(Born::1933 - Died::August 4, 1999) was an anesthetist by profession, but best known for his work in Biblical archaeology. Wyatt's was probably one of the most controversial Christians of modern times. Ron Wyatt attained a reputation as a great archaeologist and loving man of God. He founded the Wyatt Archaeological Research (WAR) and a Museum, which contains information and artifacts related to his discoveries, namely Noah's ark and other discoveries of biblical importance.
Richard Rives, now President and Diector of the Wyatt Archaeological Research Museum, accompanied Wyatt on several expeditions to the Middle East, and describes Wyatt as a sincere man who was warm to his friends, but could be stubborn and disagreeable to those who tried to interfere with his work.
Most Creationists are familiar with Wyatt's discoveries and are held by them as not only holding great signaficance, but unequaled in weight and value to any other discoveries ever made in modern times. His discoveries have been validated and proves the historical accounts as mentioned in the bible as not only truthful, but accurate to the very last detail.
By the time of his death in 1999 Mr. Ronald Eldon Wyatt was credited with finding biblical treasures such as:
1. Noah's Ark (the Durupınar site, on the Mountains of Ararat);
2. Anchor stones (or drogue stones) used by Noah on the Ark;
2. The post-flood house and tombs of Noah and his wife;
3. The location of Sodom and Gomorrah;
4. The site the Israelites made their Red Sea Crossing (located in the Gulf of Aqaba);
5. The true site of the biblical Mt. Sinai (located in Saudi Arabia at Jabal al Lawz);
6. The Golden Calf Altar near Mt. Sinai;
7. The Rock of Rephidim;
8. The Cave of Machpelah in Hebron (The tomb of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob);
9. A chamber at the end of a maze of tunnels under Jerusalem containing artifacts from Solomon's temple;
10. The site of the Crucifixion;
11. The Ark of the Covenant (in a cave beneath the site of the Crucifixion); and
12. What could be the dried blood of Jesus Christ.
