Main menu trailers or hype movies as I call them, were trailers that would play when you left the game on the main menu for a minute or so that had oftentimes never been shown anywhere else. With the advent of CDs in the 4th & 5th generations, there was suddenly a lot of extra room on the disc that allowed developers to do things like this. By the 6th generation, nearly every game had a main menu trailer. This started to pitter out during the 7th generation and now it's quite rare indeed for a game to have a main menu trailer. Just another loss from the corporatization of video games. This is not a comprehensive list of Xbox 360 console exclusives, but I think I have a lot of the more notable ones covered here. (Console exclusive means that it may have released on PC, but not on any other contemporary console.) I might do a part 2 at some point to get any stragglers.
