Hellacopters - Supershitty To The Max [Vinyl]

Hellacopters are a Swedish band formed by Entombed's drummer Nicke Andersson (aka Nick Royale), turned fierce guitarist. Their first singles, Killing Alan and 1995 (which also includes the ferocious Tilt City and Freespeedin) leave no doubt about their ancestry: the Detroit sound of MC5 and Stooges.

The album Supershitty To The Max (White Jazz, 1996 - First Man's Ruin, 1998), accompanied by the singles What Are You, Misanthropic High and Gotta Get Some Action NOW, puts pressure on that furnace of incandescent riffs through Random Riot, Bore Me , Born Broke. Raw and furious, the sound doesn't allow a moment's respite.
Their sound is a close relative of modern Australian garage-rock (Feedtime, Scientists, Celibate Rifles, Lime Spiders) and modern American garage-rock (Dwarves, New Bomb Turks, Rocket From The Crypt).
