You can’t fool God / Psalms 139
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.1 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
I love the fact that God knows ever fiber of my being, He knows me far better than I know myself?
It is what allows us to have a pure relationship with Him, nothing hidden and no way we can lie to Him, we have to be honest.
Not everyone believes that, people actually believe they can con God, they don’t believe He can read their minds?
They believe they can fool Him just like they do all the other people in their lives.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
I am constantly amazed that God loves me inspite of the fact that he knows me through and through, every dirty detail.
That proves to me that I have value and He loves me unconditionally with a love I will never understand.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
That is why I have choisen to repent and live for Him, He has given me everything and I deserve absolutely nothing.
I Love the fact that God knows me for what I am and He is working with me to mold me into the being (His son, a Child Of Light) that He created me to be.
