There are two Rollerballs: one that didn't descend and the other that was a testosterone-fuelled wrecking ball. As usual, the original 1970s version is the one that works, and so the one we concentrate on after getting the 2002 version out of the way. Can the 1975 version be classed as a Rightist film despite its Chewish star and is it really just another action film or is there something deeper?
