Because of import restrictions (that should be ABOLISHED) the Dragunov Sniper Rifle (actually a designated marksman's rifle) is banned from importation. A few made it into the USA before that door was shut and because of 'Supply & Demand' are price prohibitive if you can find one for sale at all.
Americans are now left with a few optional Soviet-era Marksman rifles that can be found much easier and at a lower price point.

The Soviet Union under Russian leadership had developed one of the world’s most efficient sniper doctrines using the SVD, Dragunov Sniper Rifle… and they exported the both to their allies.
But what if Mother Russia isn’t very fond of you, and yet you still wanted to operate that effective soviet sniper doctrine?
