I caught this red striped object in the eastern sky during sunset on October 6, 2017 around 7:45pm est. It was peeking through a break in the chem cloud they sprayed to try and hide it and was only visible for about two minutes. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and took a couple of pictures with an iphone 4. It was an intense red with dark stripes and a faint glow. It was bigger than the moon and there were no blood moons scheduled for this day. Was looking through some old pictures today and I decided to play with the colors to see if I could bring the planet out and make it more visible. The picture quality sucks but you can at least see the sphere in the sky.
