Russian Tanks Setting Records - Destroying Targets At Unheard Of 7k+ Range (Read Below)

The known literature (wikipedia etc) lists Russian tanks as being able to fire maximum 3000 meters (3km) and allegedly is only accurate at under 1800m at the very most. Western tanks like Abrams/Challenger are claimed to have a 4000m effective range, with the longest ever confirmed kill coming from a Challenger at 4700m.
However we now have a lot of videos showing Russian T-72's firing at targets in the 3500-4500 range, with I believe one as high as 5300 or so.
But this new one beats them all, as you can see on the rangefinder at the bottom, the tank is firing 7370meters, presumably HE round.
You can confirm in the following way: the shot lands ~18 seconds after it's fired. If you divide that into 7370 meters on the rangefinder you get a velocity of about 410m/s. An HE round is listed as having over 700m/s muzzle velocity, however to fire that long range you'd have to point the barrel so high that the round does a parabolic trajectory thus effectively coming the distance in a much slower speed because it's not going in a straight line to the target. (In fact you can see near the 17 second mark how much they have to bring the gunsight downward to see the building after firing).
Yes this is HE round and different than Sabot, but 7.3km is still very impressive and as far as I know unheard of. According to Western books, the Russian tank should not even be capable of firing this far as they claim the barrel declination cannot even point high enough to reach this distance. This just goes to show a lot of what West reports about Russian equipment is greatly understated.
