On the morning of June 18, 1982, a young postal Clerk on his way to work discovered a man’s body hanging from a rope tied to the scaffolding under London’s Blackfriars Bridge. He was wearing a suit and his watch had stopped at 1:52 a.m. in the morning.
At first, it seemed like and opens and shut case, it was a suicide, and the police quickly stated that the man had taken his own life.
However, further examination of the man and his body revealed he had around $13,000 in different currencies. He also had about 5 kilos of smoldered bricks that had been stuffed into his pants, and the police found a false passport.

His real name was Roberto Calvi, nicknamed “God’s Banker”, and his death, along with the sudden death of Pope John Paul I, a man with no know health issues who died after only 33 day’s as pope, prompted several conspiracy theories, on what was really going on in the Vatican.
So, what really happened?
