The Lord doesn’t close doors through destruction – that’s the devil. The demonic world has blocked the truth. The Holy Spirit helps us discern what is going on. If the Lord wants you to do something, He won’t send a flood. The enemy of your soul sends a flood when he does not want you to do God’s will. God will open doors, when he wants you to do something. The evil wants us to cower and hide in the church.

Ephesians 6 says we struggle not with flesh and blood but against the rulers against the authorities against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Some of your problems – pornography, bad relationships with family, problems with fear – they’re spiritual. Confront sin in your life. Confront the devil’s stronghold over you. And count the cost, because when you punch the devil, the devil punches back.

But your reward will be great when Jesus says to you someday, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.”
