To the new candidates seeking to run on PS council in October:
Given how the scenario is playing out, it LOOKS like McGarvey is going to be acclaimed as mayor, as it appears that no one is seeking to run for mayor at this time.
This is not a good situation, and maybe some were holding back, hoping that others would take the step. To prevent another travesty from taking place, and ALSO to protect each of you running from the covid fallout and travesty of JUSTICE issue at Belvedere Heights and serious costly DSSAB ISSUES !
Thinking about this moving forward, perhaps we need a new strategy to keep the door open for more to declare, so that we can have a group of people supporting a vision for the town, and the courage to stand up to the corruption that is preventing it.
If at least four, but preferably all five of the newer candidates were to remove their names from the ballot, this would leave a void in the council. McGarvey and the current councilors will ultimately face
