WHAT IF? instead ParaBike was an ebike + his pedaling hard? How much thrust? For TOs power BOTH rear wheel & BETTER prop; in the air, flip switch to turn only prop. Pedaling improves power output and extends battery life.
Enough for significant glide range extension?

It's simply a matter of QUANTITY to get an ebike's power output to be enough for take-off by both ground movement AND prop thrust; PPGs need at least 15 hp.....
THE POINT HERE IS GROUND MOBILITY AFTER FLIGHT.
There IS a flying pedal tricycle using a gas/oil PPG engine and "trike" control arrangement; I'm not enthusiastic about its ground mobility--but it works and can easily carry the compacted paraglider canopy.
