Note: Oh dear, here's the most infamous and shocking episode that will cause viewers to go berserk, even I hated this one! However, at least there are a few surprises.
Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott reviews *shudder* "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" (My mouth was aghast when both Phillips and Scott out of all people recommend this boring, dreadful, flat soap-opera melodrama trash! Easily, the worst movie of 2009 or any year and horrible sequel, too! I hate "Twilight" and screw you, Stephanie Meyer! To make matters worse...); "The Blind Side" (An Amazing, Strong and Cheerful True Story, simply the best film of the year with a brilliant Oscar Winning performance and well-deserved achievement for Best Actress, Sandra Bullock! And sadly, both Scott and Phillips gave it a "Skip it!" WTF? No wonder the show was tanking); "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" (A gritty, edgy and astounding Dark Comedy/Crime Thriller from director Werner Herzog and Starring: Nicholas Cage in his brilliant role as a corrupt police lieutenant, Terence McDonagh in New Orleans with ensemble cast including his "Ghost Rider" co-star, Eva Mendes and Val Kilmer. It's not a remake of the 1992 Abel Ferrera film despite of the same title and similar plot. R.I.P. Edward R. Pressman, the producer of this film and the 1992 film.) and "Planet 51".
Top Ten of the Decade: Continuing with the Top Ten Films of the 2000s. Phillips' picks his #6 film, "Zodiac" (Compelling and Brilliant Crime Drama from David Fincher. Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey, Jr. Before they were "Mysterio", "Hulk" and "Iron Man".) and Scott picks his #6 film, "The Best of Youth".
&
Three to See: Phillips' picks are "2012" (ugh!), "The Messenger" and "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans".
Recorded on KABC ABC 7 in Los Angeles with Commercials! Found it at "UCLA Library NewsScape" website.
