How I'm making more money with less stress in my second time as cam performer...
I've done a variety of online cam work using different names. A few months ago, I got back into Streamate part time after years away from camming. It was my favorite cam site of the several I used before, so that's why I picked it again.
I was expecting things to probably go worse than before since I wanted to start fresh with a new persona. I'm a bit older and 10-15 pounds heavier, and the market is only getting more saturated with performers. But to my surprise, I am making more per hour than I did before. And, just as importantly, it's not burning me out and annoying me all the time like it could before.
After logging a few hundred hours on Streamate and comparing that to my previous experience camming there, I wanted to share some advice that is making this time work better for me. Your mileage may vary, I'm not proclaiming this to be a set of hard rules that will be true for everyone, but maybe some of this will be helpful for new cam performers or folk who find themselves getting burned out by it (like I did before). Some of this advice is probably obvious or commonly shared, but I still wanted to include it.
