A question to all space freaks out there in lala land. Gravity as an answer is NOT allowed.

To all members of the troll community out there. The reason you can't use gravity as an answer is as follows:- Sir Henry Cavendish, a member of the good old boys club, the Royal Society, conducted his experiment in 1798 (over 200 years ago!!!) by using his mates rig called the torsion balance. A contraption that was basically 4 lead balls hanging from a wooden beam situated in a shed at the bottom of his garden. He cut holes in the shed so he could observe the effects with a telescope from his bedroom window. Highly scientific! He measured what he thought was gravitational attraction to the staggering accuracy of 0.25mm....awesome! Actually the experiment was to find out the density of the earth but his findings form the basis of the gravitational constant to this very day, and is used as a constant by our esteemed rocket scientists 200 odd years later. His experiment has been re-created and performed countless times since and has NEVER been proven to exhibit the same results. The magical selective force of gravity that keeps the mighty oceans in place but allows butterflies to go about their business is therefore not a valid answer to the question i posed.
