So many "pastors" and teachers never study the bible for themselves. My guess is their college or seminary teachers didn't teach them how to examine the Scriptures for themselves as per 2 Tim. 2:15 but were instead indoctrinated with the status quo. Classic case of blind teachers leading future blind teachers.

No wonder so many of us have blind spots, we avoid anyone who may see our blind spots and tell us about them.
