Erica Synths DB-01 quick tip: Updating the firmware

Is there anything more tedious and boring in the studio than updating firmware? In the interest of making it less painful, here's a complete walkthrough. Note that the cable from the player's headphones out to the DB-01 happens to be a regular Eurorack patch cable (ie mono), so going stereo out with a mono cable obviously had no adverse effect. Also, the angle of the video may be a little deceptive - make sure you're going to the CLOCK IN port on the DB-01.

(As of this upload date the current software version is still 1.05. I am testing a new version that hopefully eliminates an intermittent freeze bug I was experiencing. There may well be other changes in the firmware but I haven't been told of any.)

0:32​ Switch on while holding Select and Back
0:58​ Reduce media player volume to avoid distortion
1:30​ Plug in the CLOCK IN cable before switching on!
1:45​ Press play on your mediaplayer
