Hornby R2390 GWR 4-6-0 King Class 6028 King Henry II Steam Locomotive (OO Gauge) Review HD

Here is the third review to come in 2019 and another steam engine of the total of three that I own in my model train fleet. This is the Hornby 4-6-0 "King" in the Great Western (or GWR) green and is named as King Henry II with the fleetnumber of 6028.

The model was released in May 2004 if the instructions are anything to go by and this model steam engine is a very nice and a smooth runner. The model can handle the test train with ease although I don't think this model locomotive is DCC ready. Therefore DCC users would have to retrofit a decoder directly into the model.

I have not yet got a perfect passenger train to use with this model train. Therefore I have had to improvise with the rolling stock that I do own and I think that the important step here is that as long as there is a test train. It doesn't really matter to me.
