A pleasant blue field of color with a simple word written in white lowercase letters, like a singular cloud in a beautiful and limitless sky. Relax. Calm the mind. Let go of the tension and flow. Concentrate on nothing. Slowly and effortlessly move from one thing to another. Work without doing. Be still.

Experimental relaxation music based on following concepts:
1) This music is not intended to listen with headphones. Just put the music on in your ordinary environment instead of regular background music. Most all commercial music is NOT relaxing, but is designed to be stimulating [to increase sales and profits]. Even the "mellow" music is too much stimulation.
2) This music does not have background sound effects and is intended to mix into the ordinary noises in your environment. Play it on your stereo or boom box. You do not need headphones. How can anyone really relax fully when they are wearing headphones?
3) This music is NOT hypnotically repetitive. I do not find that kind of minimal music, or trance music relaxing in the slightest.
4) This music is not designed to put you to sleep, but just to play during the day to "calm and slow" the rate of daily living.
I play single notes slowly without an obvious rhythm and let the notes ring out fully without being "cut off." I play a two or three note phrase and the repeat it once (or maybe twice) and then play another short theme.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Bill Schaeffer
