I thought projectile vomiting only happened in movies.
I forgot to say that the stomach pump is a big plastic syringe that plugs into the tube that goes up your nose and down to your stomach. So they pull the plunger to suck what ever is in you out. They took something like 4/5 litres out of me in addition to whatever I had puked up. It was such a relief that it made the procedure well worth it.
