Before the House of Mouse, Walt Disney directed the precocious Virginia Davis-and his own animations- in several films for Winkler pictures from 1923-1924. This particular feature has a larger cast than normal for an Alice picture-a teacher, classmates and of course her darling dog that steal several scenes! Between the comedic timing of the actors and the fluid and well-crafted animation, I personally can think of few better ways to occupy ten minutes...Silent, B&W.
