A Stargazing Racoon
The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children Ep. 49
The Star card in the tarot is about acceptance and “shining bright” with what you have and with what you cannot change. We explore this theme by reading about a blind racoon, which also highlights the difference between good actions, evil actions and the effects that they cause. This links from Manly P. Hall’s words of wisdom for the day (which are paraphrased to be more palatable for young children).
We end by getting down to brass tacks by suggesting that stargazing is a fantastic family activity on a clear night. Staring at the stars helps us to make sense of our place in the world and who we are…. which circles all the way back to the symbolism of The Star card in the tarot.
The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.
You can follow the show also on all main podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcast, iHeart, etc.) and on Substack, YouTube, Rumble, Odysee and Bitchute.
