One of the militants explained that the drone was downed in the Hayran District by Yemen's air defense system, and he said that the drone's still-intact hardware will be reactivated. In a warning to the Houthis' enemies, one of the militants said that they are waging Jihad for the sake of Allah and that they can strike targets deep in enemy territory.
