Lottie's story:
On March the 17th 2021 I had my second dose of the Pfizer bio n tech vaccine. By the 20th of March I was in hospital unable to walk, talk or even stand by myself. I had an MRI, a CT, and a lumbar puncture and still no one is certain of an answer. I have been seen by a neurologist 4 times but I don’t have a specialist appointment until December. It’s not a decision I took lightly, after working all through the pandemic it only seemed right to get the vaccine as I was one of the lucky ones to still be working and one of the “hero’s” when really now I feel like a test subject. Saturday 20th March I began to loose feeling in my left side and then started to tremble from head to toe. I told every professional i come into contact with that I recently received my second vaccine, to be told…. Aren’t you lucky, some people still haven’t had it, no but I still don’t have answers. I had to learn to slowly walk again and get round to doing normal stuff again. All while dan watched me struggle to speak and have seizures. I have improved. But even now brain fog and memory loss effect my daily life, But I have seen more people coming out with their stories, which comforts me as I have been told that it’s probably an “unfortunate coincidence” I will never forget Dan wiping away his tears when he saw me hunched over in a wheelchair and my face dropped on one side and the pain when having spasms was unbearable and not having control of my own body was the worst feeling in the world. I’m still not sure what long term damages this has done to me. I have dedicated my life to the NHS and my profession but this has turned mine and my husband’s life upside down! I AM NOT ANTI VAX We are still in the trial phases of the vaccine and why does this have to happen to me.
This is a tick episode that I’ve been left with after the Pfizer bio n tech vaccine. Tik tok removed this video for violating community standards. This video was taken in June. I’m not able to see a specialist until December. I have set up a go fund me page to hopefully help me get to see a private neurologist in London before then.
