In his 32nd interview, David speaks with actor, singer and performer Patrick Barnitt. David and Patrick know each other from middle school growing up in South Orange, New Jersey.
Patrick talks about acting, how he came to know he would be an actor, his move to Los Angeles to pursue his ambition and what it was like to land roles on some impressive TV and movies early in his career, including 90210, Santa Barbara, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager and the movie, Seven with actors Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey.
Patrick also talks about singing, his family's talent and influence on his singing and his early days forming bands, playing locally and developing his skill in the manner of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin and also Harry Connick, Jr.
Eventually, Patrick would cut two albums, "When The Time Is Right" and the recent "Sway" featuring jazz, latin, swing and American music standards.
David and Patrick also discuss what is like growing up during the times of the early 80s in suburban New Jersey, where they had access to New York City and its culture and how this era ultimately shaped and influenced them as young kids and eventually adults as working artists.
