Wendy Smith: Do you really think that God wanted us to live in cramped little concrete boxes? "Here's your very own personal living cube, it's got everything you need to survive but nothing that you need to live." Or did God want us to live in the world that HE MADE FOR US? God made trees for us to climb and shelter under, he made birds to sing for us, he made tasty fruits to nourish us. But what does society do? Society bulldozes those trees and pours a thick layer of concrete over everything God made for us. Their concrete suffocates the Earth; it reminds me of the stone slabs they put on top of graves. That would make the skyscrapers the gravestones wouldn't it? Enormous grave stones of steel and glass, "Here lies a beautiful orchard... that we burnt down to make room for these offices."
