I won't do "short versions" anymore so I decided to do "multiple parts". Senshi can also be translated as "Soldier", which is the name of some playables classes in Tactics Advance, just saying.
I made some mistakes in the FF3 parts so I'm gonna adress them here. First, when I state that the Warrior had a "big HP pool", it's not entirely correct. Your HP were the same even when you changed jobs, BUT the "Vitality" stat was responsible for increasing your max HP WHEN LEVELING UP, and it wasn't the same for each job, the Warrior having a rather high amount of Vitality compared to others.
Secondly, about the skill Provoke: I said that the "target is more likely to attack the Viking that provoked it". Except that's wrong, if Provoke succeeded, the target will ALWAYS attack the Viking, it's the % of chance of actually Provoking that was increased by the job level.
I could have also talked about the Dwarves in FF4 that used the same FF3 Viking sprites and therefore were actually the ones that inspired the lvl78 equipments in FF14 but you couldn't play as one so I just decided to briefly mention them here instead.
I'll be more than happy to hear your complaints in FF14 on the Moogle server on my character Baguette Cat.
