Kris Kobach on DACA recipients: 'Deport the whole family'
Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach wants the families of Dreamers to be deported as well.
"They came in presumably with a parent or parents, and so the correct policy is for us to enforce federal law and deport the whole family to the home country," Kobach told CNN of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients.
About 800,000 immigrants who were brought to the U.S. illegally as children are protected by the program enacted by former President Barack Obama in 2012.
Kobach, a strong proponent of voter ID laws and the leader of President Trump's voter fraud commission, called DACA a "slap in the face" to immigrants who come to the U.S. legally. ...
