After a year of watching videos and reading papers, I concluded that WTC towers 1 and 2 were brought down by "controlled demolition". The symmetry of the collapse around all 4 walls was most compelling. But I considered that the supporters of this explanation had failed to adequately explain the collapse of the tower cores. I could find no evidence of thermite-cut core columns in the debris piles. And the amount of thermite to "take out" 47 core columns the length of the towers, stretches credibility.
The residual core spires up to half tower height were also a problem for all "conspiracy theories". Why did they not collapse (or "dustify") along with the rest of the cores? And then why did they fall shortly after?
This is a cut down video of a video I first "published" some time ago. I have been unable to find anyone suitably qualified wiling to "fact check" it. It is actually a very simple mechanism for taking the cores apart, and I am confident that it is supported by the evidence in the debris piles. It also explains the spires and their collapse.
"Conspiracy theorists" made the core out to be virtually indestructible, to prove that the towers could not have been brought down by office fires and asymmetric damage caused by the crashes. They resorted to disinformation such as that the cores consisted of "47 massive core columns", from bottom to top. Such arguments were self defeating as it made it all the harder to come up with a realistic controlled demolition theory. I have corrected some of this disinformation in the video.
Neither was there any computer modelling of a controlled demolition collapse. Surely demolition experts could have come up with details of how to bring such towers down? Such a model may have been invaluable in convincing "the public" to accept the explanation. This would be in line with current efforts to convince others of the (obvious) controlled demolition of building 7.
My explanation is very simple. As far as I am aware it is original, as I have never seen anyone else get near it. I haven't worked out all of the details, though I do have further details and illustrations. My intent is to establish a fundamental mechanism which is consistent with the debris evidence. Variations on the theme may be possible.
