Castle of the Creeping Flesh (1968) w/ Michel Lemoine & Howard Vernon

Very strange Euro-Sleaze Horror that I always found hard to follow, but had several of European actors I liked, I owned few VHS releases in my day, so I'm not sure if they were cut or edited, but I had a difficult time keeping up (...a bear attack...huh?), even though the premise of the story seems simple enough, maybe being written by Spanish filmmaker Jess Franco had something to do with it, as his stories were usually weird, complicated and off-the-wall. Directed by Austrian actor Adrian Hoven, who would go on to direct the notorious shock-films 'Mark of the Devil (1970) and Mark of the Devil II (1973).
Staring French actor Michel Lemoine (whom is in a sci-fi film I'll be uploading next) & Swiss-born actor Howard Vernon who's always a treat to watch.
STORYLINE:
In an ancient castle, a mad scientist is trying to revive his dead daughter by an operation, but there are certain body parts he needs that he can't get. His problem is solved when a group of drunken party-goers stumble into his castle..
