Parents of an Australian teenager say they are now forced to homeschool their child because his school was unable to protect him from Jihadi students.
Nina Lord said her 13-year-old son, Benji, was forced to recite passages from the Koran by students who then told him he had converted to Islam. Mrs Lord says Benji fell victim to verbal threats, homophobic and racist taunts and physical attacks including one which left him with symptoms of asphyxiation at Ashfield Boys High School in Sydney's inner west.
On one occasion, a student threw a hardcover Bible at Benji during a Scripture class and yelled: "You're a dumb c**t", Mrs Lord told The Sydney Morning Herald.
A mother of another child forced out of the same school in similar circumstances last year, Sarah Pashos, said the school informed her that it was "extremely challenging" to integrate boys from different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
So basically one of Australia's most "diverse" school is blaming diversity for the escalating violence. Enough said.
Meanwhile, our government has approved the "extraction" of a group of eight children of Australian ISIS fighters killed in combat.
They're being brought back to Australia and will likely join Ashfield Boys High or another "diverse" school close by.
But I'm sure this will end well.
