From the Album: Fiddlers Special
Release date: 1978
From the album notes:
The Maple Creek Old Tyme Fiddlers have had a marvelous musical as well as neighbourly relationship for the past 5 years. Making records is one of the many activities of this group. To name a few others, they have done a great deal of entertaining in Saskatchewan, entertained senior citizens often, played for many dances and played for all the winter sessions of the Cypress Hill Community College Old Tyme Dance Lessons. They have also been filmed by the Saskatchewan Film Board and Canada's own CBC. Many participants of the Maple Creek Old Tyme Fiddlers are old timers of Maple Creek. This adds a certain touch of "homestyle" feeling to the music they produce.
