Harari: 'One of the reasons centralized control of the economy failed is because people lacked the capacity to process all the information in one place.
Its only under 20th cetury technological conditions that free market capitalism was more efficient.
Now, with the rise of AI and big data algorithms, maybe we are enterint an era where it is possible to concentrate and procss all the information in one place, and then a central command economy might become more efficient than a free market capitalist economy.
